It's time for the first weekly update. Thanks to everyone who sent us new resources - we may have updated the website but it is you who allow us to expand the site even further with new downloads for Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge modders. We will post every new file that has been sent to us in the last week. Our Content Management System allows us to post every download position to the article.

It's my first article since the launch of our website so I'll tell you about some tips how you can use our new website. YR Argentina was in development since the end of April 2011, our decision was to use a CMS system for easier management. Our main goal was to create functional website with easy to learn download system (file icons, thumbnails, ratings, comments), articles, user management. We spent a lot of hours to make it live again, especially while providing you with updated screenshots of voxels. Below are some tricks, that can help you with our new YR Argentina. Since YR Argentina hasn't been updated for ages and there's been plenty of resources released for Westwood's 2nd generation Command & Conquer games (Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun with expansions), I've decided to redo the website completely and get things moving again.

The biggest amount of voxels and SHPs in one place!

There've been quite a few resource sites with graphics that can be used in Red Alert 2/Tiberian Sun modding but YR Argentina has always been the biggest one. Nowadays, most of those sites are gone and some of resources have been lost. However, this website - started by ArgCmdr several years ago - will not be lost. With several people updating the download database new resources will be appearing regularly

Clear layout and easy access to all of the resources!

The updated website is based on Joomla CMS which makes more features possible. Most important thing is that now there's a search function which should've been implemented long time ago. Assets are segregated into groups in a similar way the old website did and you can access those categories with tabs above or list in the right sidebar. Unlike the old website, more resources are displayed on a single page and what's more important - you can use checkboxes to download multiple assets in a single archive.

A list of Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge mods with up-to-date info!

A new 'Mods' section features a list of Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge mods with actual info on released, unreleased and cancelled mods with information on where to download those mods, what patches those mods require and when was the last time an update has been published. If you think that something hasn't been updated in time - let us know!
